This day trip takes you through the Hajar Mountains to Nizwa, the ancient capital of Oman, whose fort was built more than 350 years ago.
From Nizwa you go on to Bahla village, famous for its tradition of pottery, and to Jebrin Castle. The castle is 350 years old and was once a centre for teaching Islamic law, history, Arabic, medicine and astrology.

Drive through the Hajar Mountains via Fanja and Sumail to Nizwa, the ancient capital.
Visit Nizwa Fort, built more than 350 years ago.
Explore the traditional market and enjoy a traditional meal there (lunch is not included).
After lunch, head to Bahla village and discover its famous tradition of pottery.
Continue to Jebrin Castle, 350 years old, once a centre for teaching Islamic law, history, Arabic, medicine and astrology.
Return to Muscat and your hotel.
